The father and daughter TV duo have invested in Priory Hill and Nutts Farm Holiday Park in Kent as try to manage their own holiday business for Sky.

As reported by The Sun newspaper's TVBiz column, the show has impressed the broadcaster so much that a second run has been greenlit before viewers have had a chance to watch the first series.

A source said: “Sky are so impressed with the Dyers’ first caravan park series, and are sure it will go down well with viewers, that they didn’t waste any time ordering another series.

“Danny is hot property at the moment so they knew that if they didn’t book him up they might lose him to another project.”

According to Sky, the show is set to air later this year as Danny and Dani strive to bring back the British holiday tradition "in suitably chaotic fashion".

However, their goal of "breathing new life into the caravan industry" isn't easy, with plumbing issues, awkward customers and the struggle of trying to reinvent the park's restaurant menu.

Nutts Farm Caravan Park has around 182 privately owned caravans, while there are at least 105 statics at Priory Hill.

Danny previously opened up about his own memories of caravan holidays as a child.

He told the Table Manners podcast: "Nostalgia is important for me. Every holiday, I used to go to Canvey Island at a place called Thorney Bay Beach Camp.

“My whole the family were together, no phones, no laptops – it was the 80s. We used to hook up for a week, walk along the sea wall do crabbing, go to the arcades, and have a bit of candy floss.

“I used to think it was like Disney World. Now, I want to bring caravan holidays back. Mine is in Leysdown in Kent.

"The caravans are all static ones, it’s got some charm about it – but it does need a lick of paint.”
